New Zealand Beeswax Pellets

Pure beeswax, created by NZ Bees in nature, processed and purified in New Zealand. Honest Skincare beeswax comes in pellet form for easy handling and melts at 61-65 degrees celsius. It has a light honey colour and faint smell of honey.

Used cosmetically, Beeswax hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin. It exfoliates, repairs damage, promotes the skin's regeneration, diminishes the appearance of the signs of ageing, soothes itchiness and irritation, and creates a hydrating, long-lasting protective barrier against environmental pollutants. Used in hair, Beeswax nourishes, conditions, and softens the strands while promoting shine.

Honest Skincare's beeswax is safe to use in the preparation of cosmetic, skincare, candle and food products. 

Processing: Pure crude cappings beeswax is gently melted over clean un-treated bore water and is then allowed to settle. The molten beeswax is then micro filtered to remove all dross before being passed through a pelletising machine. The pellets which are formed, are cylindrical, 20 mm long and 7mm in diameter. Light yellow to yellow colour of varying intensity with a fine-grain matt, non-crystalline fracture. Becomes soft and pliable when warmed by hand. The odour is faint and characteristic of honey. Manufactured to British Pharmacopeia 2014 standard.
